Working:
- Evaporator is used to evaporate volatile solvent like water from
solution with the purpose to concentrate non-volatile solutes like
inorganic salts, organic compounds, acids or bases

chloride, gelatin, syrups, urea and sodium sulfate
- In most applications, evaporation process performed results in
precipitation of solutes like sodium sulfate, sodium carbonate, sodium
chloride and calcium sulfate in crystal form that are separated from
solution using settlers, cyclones, wash columns, filters or centrifuges
- The desired end form can be available in form of concentrated
solution, precipitated solids or both
